Attorney ProfilesStephen J. HoodStephen practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, business and tax law. He received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Miami University in May 2005 with a double major in History and Political Science. He received his J.D. from The Ohio State University-Moritz College of Law in May 2008. In addition, he received his L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida in July of 2009. While at Ohio State, he was an associate editor on the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. He was also a Research Fellow with the Pro Bono Research Group, providing free legal research assistance to Legal Aid offices throughout the state of Ohio. While at Florida, he served as a staff editor on the Florida Tax Review. He is a member of the American, Ohio, and Dayton Bar Associations. Stephen is a native of the Dayton area, having grown up in Centerville and graduating from Archbishop Alter High School. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis and golf, boating, and spending time with family and friends. |
