Attorney ProfilesTyler D. StarlineTyler focuses his practice on civil litigation, including business-related disputes and personal injury claims. Before joining the firm in May 2007, he served for over two years as the full-time staff attorney for the Honorable Judge Dennis J. Langer of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, General Division. In December 2006, Tyler submitted a commentary memorandum to the Legislative Counsel and the Justices of the Supreme Court of Ohio regarding the proposed amendments to the Ohio Civil Rules of Procedure. Tyler was admitted to practice in the state of Ohio in November 2004 and in the federal Southern District of Ohio in December 2005. He is active in the Dayton Bar Association, where he is involved in several committees and presents CLE seminars on civil procedure issues. He has written multiple articles published in the Dayton Bar Association’s Bar Briefs. After completing an Honors Thesis in Philosophy of Law, he graduated cum laude from the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree with double majors in English and Philosophy in December 2000. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law in 2004. He was a published member of the University of Dayton Law Review and served on the Editorial Board as Research Editor from 2003-2004. Tyler was one of four team members selected for the 2004 National Mock Trial Team. He serves as a member of the Leadership Council for the Dayton Chapter of University of Dayton undergrad alumni, and is an active member of the Vandalia Sister Cities organization and has twice lived in Lichtenfels, Germany. Tyler is a native Daytonian and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and children. |
